Philippe Saisse Acoustique Trio - My Favorite Songs

Saisse, known as a contemporary keyboardist supporting big stars such as the Rolling Stones, David Bowie, Chaka Khan and Al Jarreau to name a few, goes back to being a pianist, and "sings" a number of his favorite tunes in acoustic jazz format in this project. Joining him are acoustic jazz bass player David Finck and drummer Scooter Warner, whose funky groove can change at will, to excite their fresh sensibility. With nothing to mar the artistic level, this intoxicating masterwork that has Saisse's pop feeling infused into it, it could be said that this will open up new possibilities in this traditional format known as jazz piano.
