Bio for "Munda" the band Rebecca Trujillo, creator of Munda, is a songwriter from Santa Fe, New Mexico with a hauntingly beautiful voice and distinctive style. She describes her music as World Folk Earth Goddess Music. A mix of Contemporary rock and eclectic world music with an upbeat spiritual theme. This music is for people who want to smile and dance naked in the sun. Music for drinking red wine by the fire. She traveled around the world with a small backpacker guitar, connecting with people and picking up the native indigenous styles of The American Southwest, Europe, Israel, Nepal, & India. Currently she has just finished her first CD - "Munda" (which means Feminine Earth) and is playing various events, festivals, and clubs around Los Angeles, and parts of Northern California. "Munda" (which is also the name of the band) consists of guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, and revolving group of world musicians. (Bamboo Indian Flute, Tabla, Didjeridoo, Pedal steel, and viotin). Back in Hollywood, Rebecca wrote the music for her first album, 'Munda,' and recorded the work with a 'talented and spirited group of musicians.' The essence of 'Munda' is about diversity - diversity in culture, humanity, and in ways of expressing love, her performance is heartfelt, sincere, and radiates a unique and calming feeling of love and empathy. Her voice moves from a childish innocence to a jazz crooner, folk singer, and rocker. "I feel this musical journey is about experiencing ultimate peace and understanding on our planet at this moment!
