A film festival favorite, Metro land is set in the '70s, a time that's being resurrected a lot these days. With multi-platinum selling, Grammy-winning Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits) composing the score and contributing several instrumentals, the soundtrack also features other '70s (and after) favorites: Elvis Costello's "Alison," the Stranglers' "Peaches" and Hot Chocolate's "So You Win Again," plus "Tous Les Garcons Et Les Filles" by French chanteuse Francoise Hardy.
