Chew Heart - Messy Snarls

Chew Heart is catchy indie rock duo from Chicago, IL. Consisting of Laura Granlund (Vocals/Guitar) and Curt Swank (Drums), Chew Heart originated in 2010 after the demise of their former band, The Manners. The key to the new band is to keep it simple. 'Messy Snarls' was recorded live to tape with limited overdubs and most songs clock in at under two minutes. The result is an energetic mix of early 90's indie rock and 60's pop. Strong melodies coated in a shimmering layer of reverb, bombastic drumming and the quick pace in which the songs blast out of your speakers will keep the songs stuck in your head all day.
