Valentin

From the co-writer of Km. 0 and Amor de Hombre comes this twisted, dark Spanish comedy/drama. A theater company is rehearsing Shakespeare using male actors in the traditional way - for all the roles - male or female. When the director's wife dies suddenly he develops an obsession with the beautiful lead actor Valentin with disastrous consequences. Valentin is a self-absorbed young man intent on charming those around him. When the slightly older man, who Valentin replaces, decides to seek revenge, the film becomes a passionate tale of jealousy and revenge. (Spanish with English subtitles)
