Troy hails from Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Growing up, his home life was full of music of Elvis and Chuck Berry. As his musican talent grew, Troy began to absorb The Beatles and Cheap Trick. At one point he studied with two teachers simultaneously, learning both rock and jazz. Troy has a dedication and he also has something to say. He began devising a strategy to record his own project. Twenty-seven months was the long gestation period for the writing of better days. Recorded at LA's Mad Dog Studios, the sonic veneer of the release is first rate. Committed and passionate, Troy Groller's music is construced on a framework of solid nuts and bolts. His songs bear witness through stories - of dreams and his heart - through undeniable rocking power of the groove.
