From early raw hits like 'All Day And All of the Night' and 'You Really Got Me' to slightly more complex hits like 'Waterloo Sunset', 'Days' and 'Lola', The Kinks were the quintessential British band and may not have sparked as much adulation in the states during their early years, but they've made up for it by being one of the most influential bands of their generation.
