Director Ang Lee's (Eat, Drink, Man, Woman) film adaptation of Jane Austen popular novel, written for the screen however, by Emma Thompson. This romantic comedy-drama focus on 3 sisters and their mother who are "kicked" out of society when their father dies leaving all of their money to his son (of a previous marriage). Living in a small cottage, the women discover the joy of love and pain of heartbreak. A must-see (chick) film.
