James Gabriano - Riviera Sunrise

About the Artist: James was born in Toronto Canada where he first started playing guitar at age 12. He later moved to Dallas Texas where he studied Jazz and Classical guitar at The University of North Texas. His last CD Acoustically Speaking has been played on over 100 smooth jazz stations nationwide. James has opened for several national artists such as Larry Carlton, Chuck Mangione, Gino Vanelli and Ottmar Liebert. Album Description: Riviera Sunrise: James proudly welcomes guest artists Wayman Tisdale, Steve Ferrone, Alex Acuna, Alex Al and Steve Reid in creating the rich, seductive rhythms permeating it's varied selections. The group masterfully weaves between the sultry sounds of smooth jazz, latin jazz and flamenco styles. James is a master at capturing the silkiness of his romantic acoustic guitar while providing a strong melody line atop captivating funk beats.
