Likeable loser Ricky McDown is a struggling actor with a light wallet, a big heart and an even bigger "Rocky" fixation. When his gorgeous, new girlfriend, Tracy, dumps him, he's crushed, Until his pals convince him that; in order to win back the heart of his self-centered "Soulmate", he just needs to transform himself into the man of her dreams. With the help of Janie, a cute girl from his boxing gym, Ricky channels the "eye of the tiger" and whips himself into shape (both body and soul) for his big move on Tracy and an even bigger confrontation with Brad, the arrogant, smooth-talking playboy who's already taken his place. But the road to true love is this charming (and disarming) romantic comedy is a rocky path indeed; in more ways than one!
