Mat Maneri - Pentagon

Maneri is known throughout the modern jazz community as a master composer and instrumentalist. Testament to this is his stellar violin playing. On this next installment in the Blue Series, he's gone for a more gestural and natural feel. At the same time, he's injected the album with electronic pulses that add to the earthy qualities of his violin mastery, accentuating and complimenting his already provocative musicianship.
