Japan's War in Colour

An interesting documentary on the war from the Japanese side of the front lines is depicted from very rare color footage. Originally thought to be nonexistent in 1930s Japan, this color film provides vibrant scenes of Japan complete with Japanese troops in Manchuria, excerpts from a Japanese soldier's diary and the devastation from Hiroshima and Nagasaki. 2003/color/151 min/NR.
