Jane (Meryl Streep) has three grown kids, a thriving Santa Barbara bakery and an amicable relationship with her ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin). Now, a decade after their divorce, an innocent dinner between Jane and Jake turns into the unimaginable - an affair.
