Jay Gore - Identity

This albums features songs that I've written, over the years, and have finally put down on tape (hard drive). There are some beautifully sang vocal songs featuring, Ernie Halter, Connie Lim and Shane August. As well as a Smooth Jazz duet co-written and performed with my great friend, legendary guitarist, Peter White. You will also find hints of 70's fusion, ala Jeff Beck, as well as some instrumental acoustic guitar songs that seem to morph into, what may sound like, a missing Van Halen song. I was really motivated to make this CD by all of my great fans out there in the Smooth/Contemporary Jazz world. This CD is really for them. They've been asking for it, for years now, so here it is. Most so the music was tracked, by me, in my home studio, usually in the very late night, early morning hours. There were others who pitched in with the engineering, Shane August, Julian Chan, J.J. Blair, Rodney Lee and Jamey Tate. Julian Chan did all of the mixing. Some very talented a amazing friends joined me on some of the songs. Alex Alessondroni, Robin DiMaggio, Ben White, Dave Brown, Rodney Lee, Jamey Tate, Andre Berry, David Goodstein, Connie Lim, Ernie Halter, Shane August and Peter White.
