Stepping outfrom the collaboration with his Spinal Tap / Mighty Wind mates, Christopher Guest and MichaelMcKean, Harry Shearer writes and performs a baker's dozen of songs notable for their humor as well astheir musicality. Boasting some of the best musicians in LA and New Orleans, Songs... takes on GeorgeW. Bush on energy ("Addicted to Oil"), Michael Jackson ("Looking for a Sugar Daddy") and the Bushadministration on "enhanced interrogation techniques," ("Waterboardin', USA").
