Candy Evess Thomas - God Answers Prayer

Candy is an innovative Evangelist and Gospel Singer. She is a vessel to be used by God to reach thousands by ministering the word God through speaking and singing. She is truly thankful to God for giving her the gift of praying and laying of hands for healing. She is a born again Christian & filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Her vision is to help someone along the way, have a renewed mind by reading and living the gospel of Jesus Christ. Prayer is her top priority in everyday life. Her motto is to always stay focused on the scriptures, have an anointing and strive for spiritual excellence. Candy faced the most Traumatic Dilemma of her life on June 18, 1999, when her oldest daughter Sheryl, was given up for dead by the Head Neuro-Surgeons at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, CA. They said she would not survive four Brain Surgeries. Three surgeries for Ruptured and Un-Ruptured Intracranial Aneurysms and one surgery for a Shunt to be put in her head to keep the fluid drained off her Brain. The doctors said there was no way Sheryl could make it because most people do not survive surgery for even one Aneurysm. One of the Aneurysms had ruptured and an inch of fluid was on her brain. Candy began praying on the onset of the Trauma and called people throughout the United States, The Bahamas and Jamaica to pray for Sheryl. A friend of Candy, Pastor Johnson met her at the hospital. He and Candy went in the pre-op room to pray for Sheryl before she went into surgery. Candy stood on one side of the bed where Sheryl lay and the pastor stood on the other side. They held hands across Sheryl and began to pray. As they started praying the room filled up like the clouds and their feet were lifted up off the floor. This was the true visitation of God. They were speaking in Tongues as the spirit of God gave utterance. After they finished praying,the pastor was shaking like a leaf on a tree. He said to Candy, the doctors have given up on Sheryl but God told me in the spirit that he is giving Sheryl a miracle. There is not going to be anything wrong with her mentally nor physically. Well, thanks to the Amazing Grace of God, she survived all four (4) Brain Surgeries and is still a MIRACLE today, no mental nor physical impairments. Sheryl was released to go back to work as a Staff Accountant, three months after the fourth surgery. She then went to church, got baptized and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. Prior to the surgeries she had not been to church in two years. If, you see her you would never know she had any surgeries unless you see the scars. All you have to do is have faith when you pray and believe that God will answer your prayer. God does not leave us, he is the same yesterday, today and forever more! Candy gives God all the glory, honor and praise for the Miracles he gave Sheryl and other family members and for sending an Angel of Peace to her home in May 2000 @ 2:00am, when she was going through another family crisis. Yes, I have seen a real live Angel, kneeling at the foot of my bed, with wings almost touching the ceiling. An experience I will never forget. Glory Hallelujah!!! Everything went well with Sheryl until approximately the latter part of 2005 when she started having regular, excruciating headaches. She went to the emergency and they did a CT Scan which showed the shunt had shifted and was not working at all. Then she went to the doctor who had done this surgery and he was lost for words because he could not explain this malfunction at all. So, Sheryl paid her own money to go see a doctor at UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, CA. The doctor had tests done and did a CT Scan. It was revealed that the wrong shunt and tube had been put in her head by the doctor at Daniel Freeman Hospital. The shunt did not have a monitor on it and the tube was too large. You could see the entire protrusion of the tube through her body. The doctor said the shunt had to be removed ASAP!!! Well, Sheryl had to wait until Open Insurance Enrollment in 2006 to change her Medical Insurance Coverage back to PPO. Sheryl went into UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, CA on May 1, 2006. The doctors inserted a monitor in her head to detect her Brain Activity and Blood Pressure for three days. On May 4, 2006 it was revealed that all her Brain Activity and her Blood Pressure was normal. There were no signs of infection at all. The doctors removed the shunt and did not put in another shunt, because she does not need one. Sheryl was released from the hospital on May 7, 2006, no complications. Shery has had a total of six (6)Brain Surgeries and she is still a miracle today. Thank you Lord God Almighty Jehovah Jireh. Candy Evess Thomas Ministries has a divine 'God Is Love Unity Outreach' of rendering services to the homeless/needy of all ethnic backgrounds in the inner cities of Los Angeles, California. This is a non-profit organization. She has worked with such programs as Say No To Drugs, DARE, Cops & Kids, Junior Lakers Basketball Teams, YMCA, MADD, Homeless Outreach of America, Todd Bridges Youth Foundation and others. She has also been a volunteer on campaigns for Mayors, Governors and Presidential Elections. Candy was raised Southern Baptist and grew up praying and listening to Gospel music. Candy is no stranger to Movies or Television. She had her own Gospel TV Show which aired on Cable Stations throughout Los Angeles,California and has appeared on a variety of other TV Shows and TV Commercials. Candy gives all praise and honor to God for saving the life of her granddaughter Selina. She was born at 6 months of pregnancy, her weight was l pound 10 ounces and she was 8 inches long. She was in the hospital 4 1/2 months The doctors at Long Beach Memorial Hospital said Selina would not live to be 2 years old. Well, thanks to the Amazing Grace of God, selina is over 20 years old, a college graduate and works as a Medical Assistant to this date. In July 2005 Candy received a call that her oldest Leola sister was given up not to survive through the night for Bleeding Cancer of the Uterus. Her sister was out of state in ICU. Candy told her niece Betty to take the Cell Phone into the ICU and put it to her sister's ear and she began praying for her sister. The next day her sister began to respond to the prayers. The second day her sister was talking, the third day her sister was taken out of ICU and the 5th day her sister was released to go home, no sign of Cancer to this present day 2008. God still answers prayer. In late February 2008 Candy began praying for a friend Arnold who had cancer in both lungs and it was spreading. The second week Candy prayed for him the cancer had stopped spreading. The doctor told him he was healing. As of May 30, 2008 there is no sign of cancer in his body. Glory Hallelujah. Thank you God Almighty Jehovah Jireh!!! Candy truly thank God for her grand daughter Halisha, who is as perfect as a child can be. However, she is more like her daughter than grand daughter. She is a jewel. She has been saved and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost since she was 10 years old. Candy raised Halisha from the age of 2 years old. Glory to God.
