Michael Cleveland - Fired Up

Perhaps the finest hard-driving bluegrass band today, Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper are certainly not resting on their plentiful laurels multiple IBMA Best Fiddle Player Award winner, and individual instrument winners in approaching their newest release. Rather, the title says it all they're Fired Up! As Man Glaser says in his liner notes, Michael himself is the bit of plutonium at the core of this particular reactor and one of the greatest improvising violin players in any style. Each solo is on fire, and just jaw-droopingly creative. The musicians in Flamekeeper are all spectacular. This coalition of amazing individuals truly achieves lift-off, and a kind of transcendence.
