Okay, actually there's only no sunshine "when she's gone," and the other song is not so much a denial of the Man of Steel's existence as a plea to his woman to ease up a little. Still, there's something raw and gritty about this Campbell bluesman that makes me think I wouldn't want to fight him. Smith and recorded at Tiki studios in San Jose, Ca. The very same studio where Bill Withers recorded 'Ain't No Sunshine', so I couldn't resist doing my version and putting it on the CD. I also tipped my hat to some of my heros by covering (though very different from the original) a couple more songs. The rest of the album is comprised of original compositions and a couple covers from one of my new hero B B Chung King (Alan Mirikitani) out of L.A. who I think is one of the most talented artists i've heard in a long time.
