A composer whose name is synonymous with all that is good about film music, Ennio Morricone has had a revolutionary impact on the way films are scored, especially in his most celebrated genre: The spaghetti western. Born November 10, 1928 in Rome, young Morricone studied at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, where he became an accomplished trumpeter.
