Edda: Myths from Medieval Iceland is a world premiere recording featuring Sequentia, a unique and beautiful sounding vocal group who enjoy a dedicated fan base in the U.S. Cited as one of the most important medieval European sagas, Edda features lyrics that were recited as "lieder," but the notes of the music were not written down or got lost. Benjamin Bagby reconstructed Edda by studying the Icelandic culture, language and music for years.
