In Concert from Israel

Mesa/Bluemoon Recordings announces the DVD release of Dudu Fisher's latest show, in Concert from Israel as a follow up to the CD release in March 2009. In Concert from Israel aired on over 70 PBS for a pledge drive in March 2009 and again in August 2009. The concert video performance has had encore airings each month since the initial airings (March 2009) in most of the 70 PBS markets and there will be continued airings on PBS throughout the remainder of 2009. Dudu Fisher is well known for his stirring performance as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables on Broadway. DuDu's performance on in Concert from Israel, ties his experience as a Broadway performer, a cantor and a contemporary artist to the beauty of Israel's landscape, culture and people through his music and stories. The concert was taped at the historic and magnificent Beit Sha'an archaeological site.
