"Canto a Puerto Rico" is the voice of great Puerto Rican artists who answered the call of Victor Manuelle and joined in to support a very special cause, among them Cheo Feliciano, Andy Montanez, Antonio Cabun Vale "El Topo", Danny Rivera, Andres Jimenez "El Jobaro", Ismael Miranda y Gilberto Santa Rosa. They all perform the song titled "Daria mi vida por ella", written by Victor Manuelle. The title describes in detail the Puerto Rican pride. In these times of need, it's important to search for something that can spark the will to fight for who we are and where we came from. This is the heart of the project, to inspire Puerto Ricans to keep forging ahead, and to lend a hand to benefit organizations that day by day work to help and better our lives. More than a responsibility it's an obligation. The concept consists of a single and the video. It will also contain a "making of" with artist interviews and important local figures that represent our Puerto Rican pride. The art cover of the single is a painting by world renowned Puerto Rican artist Antonio Martorell. The funds collected by the project will be donated to the "Hogar Jesus Nazareno," an institution that for the last 23 years has provided shelter to Puerto Rican children who have been abandoned or displaced from dysfunctional families. Without a doubt, "Canto a Puerto Rico" will be the Flag and Anthem that will represent Puerto Ricans this Holiday Season.
