Dave Brubeck is one of the most commercially successful jazz musicians ever, with the million selling 'Take five' being one of the best-known jazz Instrumentals. A piece as synonymous with the sixties as 'Good vibrations', 'Strawberry fields' or 'Jumpin jack flash'. Our edition is a compilation of Brubeck's groundbreaking early (1947-55) work for Octet trio and his famous quartet. Throughout it features the highly distinctive sound of Brubeck¹s piano and Paul Desmond's saxophone.
