In 2010, Dan Strickland, invited Si to come to Alaska to write a "theme song" for the campaign to stop the Pebble Mine and to protect Bristol Bay permanently. That visit resulted in 15 songs on a this released CD, Bristol Bay. Dan and I, along with former Alaska State Senator Suzanne Little, also founded Musicians United to Protect Bristol Bay, which is now an international network of musicians dedicated to using their collective voice to prevent this potential environmental, human and cultural disaster.
