Beyond Acceptance

First-time foster parents Aaron and Stacy Border don't realize when they welcome 10-year-old Evans into their stable home that their lives will never be the same. Abandoned at birth and shuffled through foster homes, Evans presents a challenge for which the Christian couple and their daughter, Jennie, are not prepared. Faced with daily tantrums, food fights, mysterious disappearances, and impenetrable silence, the Borders are fraught with doubt about their decision. Shaken by their lack of control, crushed by Evans' rejection of their affections, and resentful of the chaos he has created, Aaron and Stacy begin to wonder if Evans' erratic behavior will send them over the edge.
