2008 digitally remastered release featuring Bach classical pieces played on the guitar by John Williams and Andres Segovia. This collection brings together an early recording of Segovia, the Master, clearly demonstrating his abilities not only as a musician, but in transcription, making works sound as if they were written specifically for his instrument, with the work of one of his many students, the Australian-born John Williams. Williams is one of Segovia's best-known students, having succeeded in a number of fields, including film soundtracks and pop music with his group, Sky. Like his mentor, much of his early work centered on interpretation of Bach. These recordings reveal both the talent of the Student and the influence of the Master. Music Digi.
