American Cannibal turns reality TV on it's head as it chronicles the struggle of two writer/producers to get their pitch for a brutal, all or nothing reality TV show produced. The fireworks begin when the writers are hired by the publicity-obsessed promoter Kevin Blatt, the force behind the notorious Paris Hilton sex tapes, to create a television show where survival is just the beginning & the contestants might have to eat each other! Featuring exclusive on-set access and interviews with industry insiders such as New York Post's Linda Stasi and the Daily Show's Lizz Winstead, as well as a number of reality-TV veterans (Trishelle Cannatella, etc), American Cannibal presents a shocking and hilarious portrait of our celebrity crazed culture; asking all of US just how far we'd go for fame and fortune?
