Emile Pandolfi - Lovely Way to Spend An Evening

I had the great pleasure of recording these songs on a Steinway concert grand (CD285) once owned by Van Cliburn, a beautiful instrument. When I put together the song list for this CD, I wanted a collection of timeless standards. As I worked on the arrangements, I wanted to create a feeling of peace, relaxation, and that 'something' that causes you to sigh with contentment after a long day: that wonderful atmosphere of sitting in your favorite chair, enjoying the aroma of your favorite after-dinner coffee, enjoying a quiet evening with someone dear to you. I hope that some of the stresses of the day will gently disappear as you give yourself up to the sound and warm touch of these familiar melodies. Here's wishing you a lovely evening.
