From the Emmy® Award-winning producer of the Classical Baby® series comes an all new special designed to give young viewers an introduction to the world of poetry. A Child's Garden of Poetry features the work of some of the world's greatest poets - from William Shakespeare to Langston Hughes - in a magical mix of lyrical animation and interviews with kids. The special includes poems read by award-winning performers Claire Danes, Carrie Fisher, Josh Hamilton, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ziggy Marley, Dave Matthews, Natalie Merchant, Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson, and Jeffrey Wright, as well as recordings by renowned poets E. E. Cummings, Edna St. Vincent Millay, and Carl Sandburg. It also features children reciting their favorite poems and speaking from the heart about what poetry means to them.
