Maw-Maw means grandmother in French Louisiana. Here are her songs. This is a narrated, multicultural interactive experience for childen and the family. Songs were selected to give children an appreciation for traditional folk music thus providing a base for them to love all traditional forms of music. The emphasis here is on that of grandmother's Louisiana French music but includes Spanish songs as well. MAW-MAW'S CREOLE LULLABY is ideal for use as a musical activity for pre-schools, elementary grades or just for fun. It is also a great way to introduce other languages! The album ends with soft guitar renditions of classical lullabies sure to put children to sleep after the fun activites done to the music.
