Muryl Olson - As a child, I heard voices and songs around me of the wind in the wires, leaves in the trees, and the lonesome train whistle calling to me from somewhere. I wanted to sing those songs and tell the stories of the prairie towns and lonely people using the magic of a wooden box and six wires. The guitar was my vessel and the wires voices, and the train whistles were the wind in my sails carrying me to this place with my cargo of songs. A child of the prairie, a son of the seventies, a wolf at the door. Kristina Rehling - A voice rose from the songs of childhood where comfort was found and a quiet confidence gathered. Composed from singing praise and joining the family music tradition, a desire to create something just as beautiful and timeless emerged. The jazz music made by grandmother Jerrie and great-grandfather Jack inspired the desire to touch the hearts of those who would listen to my song. So as they whisper in my ear, I shall sing and play knowing they are with me, inspiring me. A child of my ancestors, a quiet voice heard, a wolf at the door.
