Marc Vee recorded \'Magic Moments in Miami with world class engineer Mike Blaty and several top rate studio musicians. The music on this sophomore effort is more developed than on Vee\'s debut album \'Speaking in sounds\' it really is the next step in Marc Vee\'s evolution. The title cut, Magic Moments features Marc trading nylon string guitar licks with special guest Ed Calle on alto sax for a spine tingling experience. The music on this album is totally honest and not confined by any record executive\'s paranoia or contrived in any way. Marc purposefully included several influences into one beautiful album that many have reffered to as a \'masterpiece\'. Marc Vee grew up in Miami and anyone familiar with the city, will recognize some familiar names such as the tunes, \'South bayshore drive\' or \'Magic city\'. Some people say that Fort Lauderdale is the Magic city, but those who really know, realize that it could only be Miami. Vee also recognizes that Fort Lauderdale fans have been wonderful and named \'Sunrise Boulevard\' in their honor. Marc also penned the track \'After Andrew\' following that infamous category 5 hurricane that caused so much grief to Miamians in 1992. The icing on the cake is Steely Dan\'s long time engineer Roger Nichols\' excellent mastering.
