On the heels of the Blues Music Award-winning M for Mississippi DVD film and it's acclaimed first CD soundtrack comes the second CD soundtrack. An excellent companion to the film and first soundtrack, the second CD also stands alone as a tribute to today's living Delta blues. Highlights include three songs recorded for the film but left on the cutting room floor: Miss Gladys' "Walking the Backstreets and Crying," James "T-Model" Ford's "High Heeled Sneakers" and Robert "Bilbo" Walker's take on "Johnnie B. Goode" - which Chuck Berry's attorneys barred from the film. The majority of the second CD does come from the movie, of course, and features fresh cuts from R.L. Boyce, Terry "Harmonica" Bean, Pat Thomas, Jimmy "Duck" Holmes, "Cadillac" John Nolden, L.C. Ulmer and more.
