Maynard Ferguson - M.F. Horn

Maynard Ferguson has been considered one of the premier jazz trumpet virtuosos for over 4 decades! He has a cult following of trumpet players all over the world. He has released numerous albums over those years, his most popular being on the Columbia label in the 70's and 80's. M.F. Horn was the first in a series of albums utilizing that title. It is regarded as one of his best albums ever. The self-titled Maynard Ferguson was released in 1971, not long after the M.F. Horn album and is also highly regarded by Ferguson fans.
