Ben Mackenzie - Lets Live As One

Ben MacKenzie is a singer songwriter for adults and children, and resides in the land down under (Australia that is) He's also a Primary (elementary) School Teacher for State schools and Rudolf Steiner Education He's a trained actor ( Australia and New York). He has performed on stage, in Televison and film, video presentations, and as a storyteller. He has also recorded one children's album- 'Little Star',and one adult album- 'Live at Le Soir Mystique'(also available on CD baby). He has also recorded for Mirror Records in New York, which will be releasing his album in the near future. The music on this family album is intended for older children through to adults and has been written over the past ten years. As a Primary (elementary) School Teacher (with a musical-drama background), I wrote most of the songs in conjunction with a specific class I was teaching or for children in general. I was inspired to record the songs by children and adults alike. The songs have a positive-inspiring message, which not only highlights the wonders of this world, but also addresses global concerns and the responsibility we all have in making this a more harmonious world in which to live. Given the 12 tracks of music and the colourful, easy to read booklet with lyrics, $15.00 is great value. A soon to be released practical resource book with creative ideas and activities will also be available to accompany the album (see upcoming events and projects for details) Ben's words and images convey positive and inspiring messages relevant to all age groups. He reminds us of the beauty and wonder of the natural world which is all around us. He causes us to think about the contribution each one of us can make towards a world in which we can all flourish.
