Chicago's Robbie Fulks is a singer/songwriter/guitarist whose particularly American brand of rock bears echoes of Memphis, Greenwich Village, Nashville, Texas and the Appalachians. He has been called "the Midwestern Elvis Costello," referring to his melodic authority and lyrical irreverence. Let's Kill Saturday Night was produced by Fulks and Rick Will (Natalie Imbruglia, No Doubt) and features Lucinda Williams and NRBQ's Al Anderson among others.
