Echad - L'chaim-To Life

L'Chaim means 'to life'. This CD is just that - To Life! We are all born and we will all die. It's the time in between that matters. It's during this time that we choose who we will be and how we will affect the lives that we touch along the journey of life. NEW LIFE - Everything about a new little life is full of excitement. We wrap our hopes and dreams for the future around our new gift from God and look forward to the days ahead filled with learning, sharing, growing and the innocence we gain through the eyes of our children. Our children can be our biological children, ones we adopt, or the children that we all share within our communities. No matter how our children come to us, we have the opportunity to see the world in a whole new way, from spending a beautiful BUTTERFLY DAY in a meadow to the look on a child's face the first time they see a sky scraper. As they grow they take on an identity for themselves. It's our job to help them and be a positive influence in their lives. In our community, the study for Bar or Bat Mitzvah is key. In this act, our children take hold of the TREASURES OF THE TORAH for their own and begin their journey to adulthood as an independent person of faith. As we grow and question the path for our lives, we don't always understand God's plan and purpose, yet we seek the great I AM in all matters. Why am I single? Why is life hard? Does it have to be a TRAIL OF TRIALS that leads us to a path of strength? God in His infinite wisdom sends us helpers along the way. A teacher, a mentor, our family and MY FRIEND, MY FRIEND. That special person who shortens the road of life by sharing our highs and lows. Some of us are blessed to find someone in which we desire to spend the rest of our days with. Someone who our soul longs for. It's in THIS DAY OF JOINING that we share everyday saying, SO MY LOVE I will walk with you on this journey and together build a lifetime of memories. Some of us build a foundation that we then share with our children. We take our children and ask them to place YOUR HAND IN MINE and as one family we walk the path of life together. THE GREATEST GIFT we all share is the gift from our Heavenly Father. The gift of love, kindness, forgiveness, joy, hope, charity, caring, family and friends. These gifts, THESE DAYS, are what our lives are about. Our Lord numbers our days. We all have the ability to use them to the fullest. We should choose to live each day as if it were brand new, filled with the magnificent wonders of this world and to walk with the Almighty Creator until the time He decides to TAKE ME HOME.
