Jelly Roll Morton is considered one of the first great jazz composers. His unique and influential style is preserve by the solo and piano rolls he recorded in 1923-24. The songs on this collection include some of his most famous: "King Porter Stomp" and "Sreveport Stop" as well as a couple of rarer performances, "Sweet Man," and "Tin Roof Blues."
