What do you get when you add a country flavored style of Boots Randolph, combine it with the bluesy/jazzy feel of Kenny G and David Sanborn and sprinkle in some Southern Gospel flavorings? You get the music of Dennis Gwizdala, the 'Kenny G of Christian Music' !! Dennis has been playing professionally since the age of 14, turning to the Lord AND Christian music at the age of 30. Dennis travels extensively and ministers through music from Alaska to Florida and everywhere in between, performing approximately 150 concerts a year in various venues such as churches, amphi-theatres, fairs and Cruise Ships. People may wonder what they should expect at a 'Dennis Gwizdala' concert. As a Gospel singer/saxophonist, Dennis ensures a variety of music, songs sung vocally as well as songs played instrumentally from Dennis' alto, tenor or soprano saxophones. Dennis also prays that you will experience different emotions throughout the concert. You may laugh, you may rejoice and praise the Lord while listening and singing along to 'toe-tapping' Gospel music, or you may cry as a slow ballad is being sung or played. But the one hope that Dennis has is that at the end of the concert, you will come to have a closer relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Dennis believes that Christians should enjoy themselves and have good clean fun (Proverbs 17:22-'A merry heart doeth good like a medicine') however, when all is said and done and the last note is sung, Dennis' prayer is that everyone walking out of his concert will be a little more encouraged and will want to have a closer walk with God. Though his concert may make you want to tap your feet and clap your hands, Dennis' desire is to see souls saved and that means that Dennis will ALWAYS bring the concert to a close with an invitation for lost souls to get saved and to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Personal Savior ! Dennis Gwizdala has been singing and playing professionally since practically a child. Born into a musical family, Dennis started singing and playing professionally as a clarinetist and saxophonist in the secular world at the age of 14. For almost 20 years, he would play at various events throughout the Midwest. He had recorded an album and was a driving force in the group and music he was dedicated to. Dennis' secular music was #1 on his list of priorities in his life. On August 4th, 1986, at 30 years of age, a co-worker lead Dennis to the Lord Jesus Christ, and Dennis was wondrously saved !! At that point, God changed Dennis' heart and desires. Dennis likes to add 'when I got saved, so did my horns!!' Shortly thereafter, Dennis started attending a Bible-believing Baptist Church in Bay City, MI. Dennis eventually held the responsibility of Music Director for 13 years. In 2001, Dennis felt that God had placed a calling on him to expand his music ministry and to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to other churches in order to see other souls saved as well as be an encourager to other believers through his music ministry. Through the urging of the Lord as well as from other preachers and evangelists, Dennis felt compelled to release his first Southern Gospel recording that same year entitled 'I've Been Drinking From The Well'. Since that time, Dennis has recorded additional Southern Gospel projects. These projects feature both instrumental as well as vocal recordings and includes old Gospel favorites as well as some new songs that Dennis has written.
