FRED DENDY Fred Dendy is an exceptionally talented producer/songwriter, and the founder of FreDen Music that offers production and songwriting services. Fred, a native of Washington, D.C., began performing as a percussionist in the District of Columbia Youth Orchestra at age 10 and later studied piano and organ under renowned classical artists Earnest and Earl Hargrove. After graduating from the Catholic University of America, Fred performed on the Grace Community Choir debut live gospel concert recording titled "Walking in the Light" and performed the hit gospel song titled "I've Come A Long Way" in concert live with the late Reverend Donald Vails doing everything from singing to playing the piano. Fred has performed as a featured gospel artist at the Washington Convention Center and Washington Monument Sylvan Theater Gospel Extravaganzas. This spirit filled artist has ministered music in major concert performances at Baptist, Methodist and Presbyterian churches throughout the Washington Metropolitan Area and is the Fort Washington Baptist Church Music Director located in Fort Washington, Maryland. Fred is an Associate Member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and a publisher/writer affiliated with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. Fred has written, arranged and produced inspirational music for numerous artists throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.
