Cait Shanahan - In Season

Cait is a singer\\songwriter from the midwest. Pulling her influences from classic artists such as Joan Baez and Bob Dylan; and more current artists such as Lisa Loeb and Sara McLachlan. Cait has idependently released 3 full length records, and 1 Acoustic EP. She has sold upwards of 700 copies on her own, with that number to explode as her new record, In Season (released September 2007) starts to make a mark on the idependent acoustic music scene. Since starting her career at 17, Cait, now 22, has managed to create a name and a following for herself in two different competetive music scenes (Madison, Wi and Denver, Co). She went on her first tour (8 states-20 shows) in the summer of 2007 and is looking for more. Her voice will sweep you off your feet and her lyrics will keep you close to the ground with an intamacy and honesty that can only come from a life of experiece and compassion.
