Pat Metheny - I Can See Your House from Here

Guitar giants John Scofield and Pat Metheny teamed up for the first time in recorded form for the 1994 Blue Note Records collaborative album I Can See Your House From Here. Sparks really begin to fly on fourth cut, the bluish "Everybody's Party," and the musical momentum doesn't let up for the remainder of the relaxed and free-flowing 11-track offering. All of the selections (including two blues numbers) are originals by either of the virtuoso guitarists and, with right in the room production from Lee Townsend and fine accompaniment from bassist Steve Swallow and drummer Bill Stewart, this varied set lives up to it's expectations and then some!
