What a swell party this is! a sparkling cast that includes Melissa Errico, Daniel McDonald, Randy Graff, Stephen Bogardus and John McMartin puts the bubbly into this original Broadway cast recording. High Socity has music and lyrics by Cle Porter, with additional lyrics by Susan Birkenhead, and is based on the play the Philadelphia Story starring Katherine Hepburn and the film musical High Society starring Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly and Bing Crosby. The sparkling new version marks the first time many of Cole Porter's greatest songs, including "True Love," "Let's Mesbeghave" an "You're Sensational" as well as some recently found gems have been staged in a Broadway musical.
