John Mark Thomas received his first guitar for his 13th birthday... and so the addiction began. One year later, John started writing his own music, and at the age of 15, recorded his first home-made CD along with his sisters Beth and Faith (to get a copy of this you must deposit $10,000 to his Swiss bank account). Since then, he has recorded four projects of his own. John comes from a long line of talented amateur bluegrass musicians and builds on this tradition, adding his own distinctive spin. Having grown up as a missionary kid in Southeast Asia, John gained a unique perspective that shows in his thoughtful lyrics. Shortly after graduating from LeTourneau University in May 2006 with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering, John released his first full-length album, Here Goes Nothing. He is now working for a major defense contractor just west of Washington, DC. He is also the worship leader at CrossWay Fellowship in Manassas, VA.
