Dublin based pop/folk duo The Guggenheim Grotto returns with it's sophomore record, HAPPY THE MAN, which boasts the band's signature mix of timeless pop, folk and soaring melodies, but offers a greater maturity and a higher sense of self-consciousness. The band made significant in-roads with their 2006 debut WALTZING ALONE, which was embraced at radio by the likes of Nic Harcourt, David Dye and Rita Houston and praised in publications across the country from the Boston Globe and Washington Post to Paste Magazine. Apple iTunes showcased their song "Philosophia" as Free Download of the Week and most recently their song "Told You So" was chosen for the January 2008 Starbucks Hear Music sampler titled ACROSS THE POND, on which the band was one of only two indie acts alongside notable U.K. and Irish artists such as Amy Winehouse, Damien Rice, and Corinne Bailey Rae.
