2009 sophomore album from the American Alternative quartet. St. Louis-born brothers Lillian, Eve and Bosh Berlin have been working diligently for nearly two years on this sophomore album, which can be described as an extension and evolution of their 2005 debut Ahead of the Lions, which featured the explosive first single 'Bom Bom Bom.' the first album's critical acclaim and the band's consistently electrifying live shows have set the stage for a breakthrough moment. Living Things unique story (mother was a white anarchist activist who once tried to join the Black Panthers, father was a carpet salesman who did time for trafficking in stolen goods) and their striking visual image set them apart from their peers. Habeas Corpus, spearheaded by the delirious lead off single 'Let It Rain,' is busting into the world's consciousness fully realized in every way, one of the first truly significant album releases of 2009.
