The much-anticipated new album, entitled "GOODBYE BLUES" is the follow-up to the Chicago-based band's acclaimed second album, 2006's "LIKE VINES." Includes the first single "Honey." "GOODBYE BLUES" was recorded last fall at North Hollywood's Fairfax Recordings with producer/engineer Kevin Augunas (Cold War Kids, Jon Brion) at the helm. Tracks such as "Honey" and "Medicine Man" see The Hush Sound thumbing through the back pages of American music, filtering blues, swing, rock, and folk through the prism of their own unique sensibility. The result is the band's most ambitious work to date, a mature and masterful album which displays it's distinctive gift for melding emotional depth, intellectual vigor, and catchy pop buoyancy.
