This CD has been 48 years in the making! Actually the concept of using live 'board tapes' to construct a musical history of The Quailes stems from sound techs and friends who would ask from time to time to tape our shows off the soundboard. We never gave it a thought to listen to them ourselves until we realized we were fast reaching the big Five-O as a band. So, armed with drinks in hand, the Phillies in the background and a trigger finger on the fast- forward button, we gave a listen to the mound of cassettes. Along with a few studio recordings, these are the songs that made the cut.
