Sick of living in his little brother's big, fat, jolly shadow, Fred Claus (Vince Vaughn) lives a life as a total slacker who makes his living partly as a repo man and mostly by being a thief. When Fred lands in jail, Nicholas (Paul Giamatti) bails his bad brother out, but only if Fred works off his debt to society at the North Pole making toys, which it turns out isn't such a good plan. The soundtrack includes classic Christmas tunes such as "Silent Night" from Irish songstress Sinead O'Connor, "Santa Claus Is Back in Town" from the legendary Elvis Presley, "Christmas Wrapping" from '80s experimental new wave band the Waitresses, and "Sleigh Ride" by famed girl group the Ronettes. It also features an original piece entitled "Suite from Fred Claus" from film score composer Christophe Beck.
