For many people who came in the late 60s and early 70s, the Siegel-Schwall Band was their introduction to blues. Formed in Chicago by harmonicist/pianist/vocalist corky Siegel and guitarist/vocalist Jim Schwall, the Siegel-Schwall Band recorded 10 albums of subtle acoustic flavored good-time blues that served as an alternative to the harder urban blues acts of the day like the Paul Butterfield Blues Band and Charlie Musselwhite. FLASH FORWARD is the first release of new Siegel-Schwall studio material in over 30 years. This album rekindles the Siegel -Schwall Band magic as Corky, Jim, Rollo Radford and Chicago blues legend Sam Lay share the spotlight on 13 new songs that fit comfortably with the best of the band's 60s & 70s output.
